The government held a open consultation between March and April 13th 2025 to gather your views. Although the consultation period is over we at the C+W BAB still would like to hear what you feel about Devolution.

Background to Devolution
Successive governments have stated their aim to devolve more powers to the regions. This government with their Devolution Bill has been very clear on its desire to drive Devolution and in particular the creation of Mayoral Combined Authorities or Strategic Authorities. In reality areas that don’t have Mayors will potentially get left behind so making you view know is critical for growth.
